How To Set Up A Band Backdrop With Grommets And Pole Pockets

There are several ways to set up your band backdrop or stage scrims. When buying band backdrops, make sure to inquire about the finishings, as these are very important for your setup before shows.

Grommets

Our stage backdrops and stage scrims can be customized with grommets along every two feet, on all four sides of the band backdrop or scrim. These are very handy, as they can be used to hang your banner just about any way possible at any venue. All you need is some zip ties, or a piece of cord to thread through the grommets, and you will be set up anywhere you go. We generally advise grommets on every banner, just to ensure that you’ll always have this option if you need it.

Pole Pockets

2.5″ pole pockets on top and bottom of your stage banner are popular ways to hang your stage backdrop. Stage scrims and stage backdrops look great on a clean smart stage stand. You can use a stage stand to hang your banners using our simple and easy video that shows you how to create a stage stand in minutes, with about $15 in PVC piping. We sell a stand that fits a banner that is up to 8’x10′ in size.  The stand is sold only as an add-on to any banner purchase.

Velcro

We can provide the option of velcro strips along the back of your stage backdrops, so you can easily stick them up. This is especially handy with small stage banners.
