Band backdrops come in many sizes. From wide, horizontal stage backdrops, to tall vertical stage banners and large format square backdrops, your band has many choices when choosing a new stage banner or band scrim. You need to consider pricing, materials and sizes thoroughly before purchasing a new band backdrop. This will ensure that your band has the right size for the venues that you play at – and help you get the most bang for your band’s buck.
Here are our top ten sizes for band backdrops. This list consists of the sizes that we sell most often to bands all across the US and Canada. We can print ANY SIZE band backdrop, so just let us know if you have any questions about any other sizes for stage backdrops that are not in this list.
20’x25
Our 20’x25′ stage backdrop looks fantastic on stage. With plenty of canvas for your logo and artwork, the obvious benefits of this size is the range of impact it will have on your audience. No matter how far they are from the stage, your logo and your brand is clearly visible on this band backdrop.
15’x12′
15’x12’s or 20’x15’s are popular sizes for band backdrops, since they provide a horizontal, landscape view. The advantage of this dimension comes into play in smaller venues like low key bars or clubs. If your band has a limited space in terms of how high your stage backdrop can be, take advantage of the wide spaces! Using a 20’x15′ or similar stage banner, you can easily achieve the same impact that a 15’x15′ or a 20’x20′ stage backdrop can create. This size also compliments smaller, vertical stage banners, like the the 3’x7’s in this photo.
10’x10′
Some band backdrop sizes just work well as a one size fits all. When in doubt, we often advise bands to go with a simple and straightforward dimension, like this beautiful 10’x10′ stage backdrop. This size is perfect for mid size venues – it’s large enough to make an impact in an outdoor setting like a festival, and small enough to fit in an indoor venue.
8’x10′
An 8’x10′ stage backdrop has a great proportion of length and width. The extra 2 feet wide give the stage backdrop the impression that it’s actually a lot larger in it’s width and height.
