What’s The Best Size Band Backdrop For You?

Even small venues have stages that are at least 10′ wide, so you can always go for an 8′ high x 10′ wide band backdrop (a popular size).

BIGGER is always better – a huge stage backdrop is like steroids for bands that want to grow! (But this kind is legal.) Your social media followers will love it.

What Type Of Material Is Best For Your Band Scrims Or Backdrop?

It will depend on how you are using it.

  • Indoor Shows: cloth stage backdrops is ideal due to it being lightweight and the colors showing up more vibrantly and brightly. If you’re on tour, cloth backdrops is your best option because it folds up small and travels so lightly.
  • Outdoor Shows: stick with mesh band banners so that the wind doesn’t cause your banner to topple over. You can read more about the differences between mesh banners and cloth banners.

We've used NorthCoast two years in a row to make huge, mesh banners for our stage at a street festival we put on. The product is high-quality --- excellent color precision, sturdy material including the grommets. They alerted us the first year that some of our graphics would not print well and helped us resolve that issue before printing. They are as invested in getting a great result as we are. North coast Banners was very easy to work with - They communicated clearly, kept us in the loop regarding printing completion and shipment timing, and delivered a great quality product to spec as requested. They also rolled the banners for shipment rather than folding, so there were no heavy creases or ink deviations. I would recommend them to anyone in need of large scale print products!! 🙌
